Texas College Bridge:

Improving College Readiness

Background

Initially launched in 2020 to assist districts with their students’ college preparedness needs during the COVID pandemic, Texas College Bridge is one of the leading resources for online college preparatory courses in the state. Following the expiration of COVID funding, the program migrated to a paid fee structure, as a collaborative effort by two non-profit organizations, the Commit Partnership and The NROC Project, the developer of the EdReady platform.

Approach

As the program’s marketing agency of record, NVision has supported Texas College Bridge since inception with a full range of strategic marketing activities developed to build awareness and participation among key stakeholders including school districts, teachers, higher ed partners and students. Most recently, NVision expanded marketing activities to include customer-focused events, both virtual and in person, as well as enhanced web resources, social and outbound media.

Since launch, program growth and usership has consistently exceeded expectations – with more than 600 districts facilitating more than 375,000 course completions, and more than 100 partnering colleges and universities agreeing to provide TSI exemptions to students completing the courses.
